from the dock so you don't have to
travel half the day to get to the
fishing hole.
Here
is what Ralph Kuiper had to say about
fishing with Wayne Ridley:
" We met Wayne at a trade show in 2003
and booked a charter to go fishing the
West coast for the first time in our
lives. We had our own boat and were no
strangers to fishing salt water but only
on the inside coast between Vancouver
and Port Hardy, and the inlets on our
mainland coast. Having seen the decline
in our fishery, we were surprised to
hear of being guaranteed to catch
Springs Salmon, Halibut, Coho, Lingcod
and Red Snapper, and were some what
skeptical, but it was the truth, not
just a sales pitch."
Another big plus is that fishing starts
30 minutes from the dock and you are not
traveling half the day to get to the
fishing hole. One can drive right up to
the lodge so it makes the trip more
affordable and one can make it a more of
a holiday. The Island Highway is easy to
drive and the last 80 k are on good
gravel road.
